A seven-year-old boy had been killed in a crash involving two trucks near Toowoomba.
The boy, a passenger in a vehicle that collided with another southwest of Toowoomba late Thursday afternoon, died at the scene.
The male drivers of both trucks were taken to hospital, one in a critical condition.

Initial investigations suggested the two trucks were travelling south on the Gore Highway when they collided with each other as one of the trucks attempted to turn into Gilgai Lane.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
