A toddler has died after a tragic accident in the driveway of his home in Victoria’s north last night.
The one-year-old was struck by a Ford Falcon ute outside his family’s home in Tatura, 20kms southwest of Shepparton.
Emergency crews were called to the Peter Avenue home about 6pm.
Paramedics tried desperately to save him but he tragically died at the scene.
The 29-year-old male driver, from Tatura, was not injured.
Police are treating the incident as an accident and will prepare a report for the coroner.
