Two hospitalised as police hunt for man over Burswood threats

WA Police and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services put the street into lockdown and it's understood the man has evaded police.

Police have now released an image of Shayne Andrew Taylor, who they believe can assist them in relation to the disturbance.

Mr Taylor is described as being 45 years old, around 165cm tall with a medium build, brown eyes and greying hair.

He was last seen wearing three-quarter kength dark pants, dark coloured Nike runners and possibly wearing a white top.

Anyone who sees Mr Taylor has been advised not to approach him and call police immediately on 131 444.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts have been asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.

It is possible to remain anonymous and rewards are available.

Road blocks at Griffiths Street and Claude Street are still in place.

It's understood no one has been charged at this stage and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
