A Pizza Hut driver was shot at after leaving what she described as a "prank” delivery call to an address in Magnolia, Texas, on Tuesday, April 3, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office released this dashcam footage from the delivery driver’s vehicle on Wednesday and appealed to the public for information on the incident, which was being treated as an attempted robbery. The driver attempted to deliver a pizza to an address at the 29500 block of Tanglewood Street. Police said the driver told them that a person at that address “answered the front door by remote from another location and stated he did not order pizza,” and also told her to get off his property. The driver then left and turned down Highland Boulevard, where she found her route blocked by another vehicle. The dashcam video shows what police described as a dark-colored Chevrolet Tahoe blocking the road. Two people are seen stepping out of the passenger side of that vehicle, one of whom moves towards the delivery driver’s car. The driver told police she saw a handgun in one of their hands, and heard one gunshot as she started to reverse. Police say they recovered a shell casing from the scene. The sheriff’s office said three people were in the Tahoe, and that the two people who stepped out were wearing masks. Melbourne man charged over Sydney stabbing
A man has been charged over the alleged stabbing of another man in Sydney’s southwest.
Police found a man with stab wounds to his neck and chest in Canley Heights in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A 25-year-old Melbourne man was arrested at a unit in the nearby suburb of Carramar about 12.30pm.
He was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm as well as outstanding warrants and refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court today.
The injured man had surgery in Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Teens cruel prank on disabled woman
Four teenage boys have been arrested after they launched an attack on a disabled woman, covering her in flour and eggs — and then hung about to take a sick photo.
A picture posted on social media appears to show the youths posing behind the woman as she sits on a park bench, cowering, having been completely covered in the mixture.
The post sparked appeals to name and shame those who carried out at the attack in Suffolk, England on Friday at around 5.30pm.
Police said two 17-year-olds and two 15-year-olds were arrested in connection with the incident but have been released on bail.
While four youths have been detained, the identity of the photographer is not known or if they took part in the attack.
The victim, a woman in her 40s, was assaulted by a group of teenagers who threw flour and eggs over her after a verbal altercation, said the police.
The woman was severely distressed but not physically injured, they said.
People said the woman is disabled in Facebook posts.
Social media star Robin Armstrong posted the image to his 750,000 followers with a lengthy video rant in which he says he wants to “lead the way” in finding the youths.
“Never felt so sick for looking at something so shameful. What sort of life skills have these scumbags been taught to think this was funny in the first place one person said.
Another added: “Literally can’t believe my eyes, how disgusting! There are no words! Pure evil absolute evil what sort of humans do that to someone with disabilities!”

Man killed by car in Queensland driveway
A woman is facing manslaughter charges after she allegedly run over her partner on the driveway of their rural Queensland property.
It is alleged the 52-year-old woman was drunk at the time of the incident, which took place on Newlands Rd in Wamuran at 7pm on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the property where they found the 56-year-old man dead at the scene.
It is believed there was an argument at the home before the fatal incident occurred.
The woman was charged with manslaughter and high range drink driving.
She is expected to face Caboolture Magistrates Court today.

Maccas ‘Aussie’ burger ridiculed online
McDonald’s Canada has introduced a new “Aussie BBQ and Egg” burger to their range, but people aren’t so impressed with their interpretation of what makes a burger Australian.
The burger was launched this month as part of the chain’s “World Taste Tour” promotion, but people were quick to notice that it lacked pretty much all the elements of a classic Australian burger.
There is no beetroot or pineapple — instead the burger is made up of 100 per cent Canadian beef, eggs, beet chips, processed cheese, lettuce and barbecue sauce.
Social media users questioned McDonald’s about how the burger was “Aussie” but were met with the same response about the ingredients used to make it.
The chain’s Twitter post soon made it over to Reddit where users were quick to poke fun at the burger.
“Nothing more Australian than Canadian beef, freshly cracked eggs, crispy beet chips, processed cheese, and a brioche bun,” one user said.
“If beetroot juice doesn’t drip from your elbows while eating, it’s not an Aussie burger,” another wrote.
So, the only Aussie about is the bbq sauce?

Horror as mum struck by lightning
A mum has endured a terrifying ordeal after being struck by a bolt of lightning while filming a storm building outside her home.
Scottish woman Tracey Kutluol was videoing the rain and flashes of lightning from an open window of her home.
The 43-year-old and her children could be heard in the background commenting on the developing storm before a bolt of lightning struck her phone.
The children then start screaming and Ms Kutluol can be heard repeating, “I’ve just been struck by lightning!”
She posted footage of the horrifying incident to Facebook and in a later posted credited the rubber pop socket on her phone case for saving her life.
Sydney train network faces delay backlash
All eyes will be on Sydney’s train network as it attempts to handle the first commute since scheduled upgrades triggered massive delays and a customer backlash over the weekend.
Sydney Trains, on Friday, warned “pretty significant trackwork” including an upgrade to an ageing signalling system, would affect the City Circle line during Saturday and Sunday.
But assurances from the NSW government agency that staff and buses would ease the pain fell on deaf ears as angry commuters began reporting multiple cancelled trains and long delays.
Some reported being late to work by two or three hours while others said they were “breaking up” with trains and felt forced to add more cars to the congested roads.
Sydney Trains chief executive Howard Collins said he’d be on deck on Monday morning to monitor any knock-on effects from the weekend’s chaos.
He called on travellers to check information about Sydney’s trains on Monday and asked them to understand delays were not the fault of rail staff and station employees.

Man set own unit on fire, police say
Police have arrested a man after he allegedly set his own unit on fire in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Emergency services were called to a fire at a ground floor unit in Maroubra on Sunday about 5.45pm.
A 30-year-old man was arrested near the site at 7pm and charged with destroying or damaging a building by fire with intent to murder.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries and was refused bail.
He is set to appear in court today.
