Kings Park stabbing leaves teenager dead, another fighting for life - ABC News

A teenage boy has died and another is in a critical condition in hospital after an apparent double stabbing in Melbourne's outer north-west.

Emergency services were called to Kings Park, about 20 kilometres north-west of the CBD, just after 2:30pm after reports two males had been found with stab wounds on Main Road West.

An 18-year-old and 17-year-old from Kings Park were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The 17-year-old later died in hospital.

Homicide Squad detectives were investigating the incident.

"The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear at this stage but at this time it is being treated as suspicious," a police spokeswoman said.

The 18-year-old man remained at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition on Saturday afternoon.

Paramedics earlier said he had critical injuries to the upper body.
