A MANHUNT is underway on the Gold Coast after at least two people fled the scene of a crash this morning.
Police are searching for at least two people following the crash on Ashmore Road near Girraween Grove around 4.50am.
There were believed to be three people in the car and all left the scene, though police have since been caught up with one of the men.
Police believe the 'vehicle may have been linked to earlier incidents'.
Police have closed the road and motorists have been urged to avoid the area.
