Gold Coast nurse abducted from hospital, forced into boot of car: Reports

A manhunt is under way on the Gold Coast after a nurse was abducted from a hospital on Friday morning.

Nine News reported the man was confronted at a private hospital, before he was forced into the boot of a stolen car.

The car then crashed on Ashmore Road at Ashmore before 5am, with three people in the vehicle, News Corp reports.

The road was closed and police were hunting for the alleged abductors.
