Two West Aussies have won a small slice of the country’s biggest lottery prize ever, with the local Division 2 winners snagging just over $49,000 each.

The pair were among 32 other Australians whose tickets possessed the seven winning numbers.

But there was no Lotto luck for WA players eager for a share of the record-breaking $110 million jackpot.

The three Australians fortunate enough to have the seven winning numbers, coupled with the Powerball on their tickets will share the record-breaking prize evenly, with each player receiving over $36 million.

The lucky winners are from South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.

The Powerball jackpot reached an unprecedented $110 million after no players held a division one winning entry last Thursday - the eighth week in a row it had occurred.

The pool was the country’s biggest ever division one prize.

If the purse had been taken home by a single winner, it would have been the biggest Australian lottery prize ever won by one entrant, smashing the $107 million won by a Sydney health worker in January.

The winning numbers from tonight’s draw were: 6, 13, 1, 11, 23, 27 and 16. The Powerball: 11.
