A man has died after falling from an upper level of Chatswood Chase shopping centre, following a domestic incident at a home on Nicholson Street on Sunday morning.
Police arrived at the residence to find a 14-year-old girl with stab wounds in her neck being tended to by a member of the public - and were told that the altercation had taken place between the girl and her 52-year-old father, who was found shortly afterwards at the popular shopping complex, just a few hundred metres away.

He had fallen from one of the higher levels of the four-level complex before emergency services reached the shopping centre, was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
The girl was taken to Sydney Children's Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
An area of the centre was cordoned off and remained closed until after police finished investigating the scene a few hours later. Nobody else was harmed during the man's fall.
The centre offered to counsel to any staff or shoppers who witnessed the incident, and said that anyone was welcome to call management in the next couple of days if they required assistance.
"Our team has been assisting police with a tragic incident that occurred today at Chatswood Chase Sydney," a Chatswood Chase spokeswoman said.
"We have offered EAP support and counselling services to our customers, retailers and team who may have witnessed or have been affected by the incident.
"As the matter is the subject of an ongoing police investigation, we are unable to provide any further detail."
