DEEPWATER:
This is an extremely large and destructive fire south of Agnes Water on the state's central coast that is burning south towards Coast Road. Mandatory evacuations were ordered and about 1000 people had left.
Some were forced to evacuate to Flat Rock Road where they were ferried across via boat to Rocky Point Park.
Power, water, and mobile phone services have been lost in some areas and roads are very dangerous.
GRACEMERE:
Mandatory evacuations of 8000 residents of Gracemere, just south of Rockhampton, were ordered on Wednesday afternoon as a sudden wildfire bore down on homes in the catastrophic fire conditions.
Residents were evacuated to Rockhampton showgrounds.
The fast-moving fire is travelling east along the Capricorn Highway from Stanwell towards Kabra, Gracemere and surrounding areas.
It is expected to impact the townships of Kabra, Gracemere and surrounds on Wednesday night.
EUNGELLA:
This is a bushfire burning near Blacks Road that's spreading east and west towards Schumanns Road and Chelmans Road, Dalrymple Heights west of Mackay.
People in the area will be affected by smoke, which will reduce visibility and air quality. People were told to evacuate via Mackay Eungella Road.
AMBROSE:
This fire is travelling south-east towards Mount Larcom impacting Taylors Lane, about three kilometres from the township of Mount Larcom near Gladstone.
People to the south of the fire were urged to evacuate to the Gladstone Entertainment Centre on Goondoon Street.
People to the north of the fire should evacuate to the Rockhampton Showgrounds.
